While a primary function of
The Source is to assist job seekers
prepare for their next opportunity, the
Business Services Team focuses on the needs of Employers.
Through outreach by The Source and the region’s economic
development leader, the
Lucas County
Improvement Corporation (LCIC), staff is able to identify
potential employees and refer qualified, job-ready workers to meet the
business’ needs.
Companies can post positions openings online, through an easy to use form or directly to staff and those opportunities are listed in the statewide jobs database OhioMeansJobs.com. Once qualified workers are identified, resumes are forwarded to the company hiring managers for review – keeping the company confidential and reducing the number of unqualified applicants.
In addition to staffing help, The Source is able to provide human resource guidance, training assistance and other essential services at no charge to the employer.
